That 1 Painter has established itself as a franchise leader in the painting industry. The company specializes in both interior and exterior painting, limewash, deck staining, drywall repair and more – and it has the steadfast support of its parent company, ResiBrands.

In January, ResiBrands was launched as a parent company that also includes a garage renovation franchise company, Garage Up, and a window cleaning service, Pink’s. All brands share a central marketing team named ResiCreative and a central customer support team named ResiConnect.

“We’re focused on bringing new life to the home-service industry and having the very best home-service companies that show up on time and do the job right,” explained ResiBrands’ Vice President of Franchise Development Jay Nielsen. “They communicate clearly with the customer the whole way through. We promise to be the best houseguest ever, which is our promise to our customers.”

While That 1 Painter has been positioned for massive growth under ResiBrands, the biggest innovation the company has introduced is its robust franchisee training program.

“We were looking at all the coaching we had and all the training we have and we said, ‘How can we make this even better?’” said Nielsen.

To answer that question, the company introduced a training and mentorship program with world-renowned leadership expert and author John Maxwell. That 1 Painter partnered with Maxwell so that he could speak at the company’s conferences and provide personalized coaching to franchisees.

“It shows our commitment to the success of our franchisees that we want to bring in every resource we can to support them, and that includes the best and the brightest,” said Nielsen.

ResiBrands also has launched its own program named ResiBoost, which is available to all franchisees of each brand. This action-packed, day-and-a-half long program offers hands-on sales training where franchisees receive one-on-one coaching. They then utilize what they learned to close sales with real customers during the duration of the program.

Additionally, That 1 Painter hosts discovery days every month that offer the opportunity for prospective franchisees to travel to the company headquarters in Austin, Texas. While there, prospects meet the staff and experience what it’s like to own a franchise.
