Robert Cresanti, the head of the International Franchise Association (IFA), announced he is leaving his position as of March 31.
Cresanti joined the IFA in April of 2014 as Executive Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs. He was promoted to CEO of the IFA in September 2015. Under Cresanti’s direction, IFA has marked critical legislative and regulatory victories, from tax reform to labor-law challenges. As CEO, he more than doubled its reserves while growing revenue each year and he significantly lowered the association’s overall expenses. Cresanti changed an organizationally challenged association into a modern, financially responsible, and technologically current business.
The IFA will hire a new CEO in due time. For now, Cresanti leaves behind an extraordinarily talented and strong leadership team at the helm. He will be sorely missed for his passion, integrity, humanity, and energy.

Robert Cresanti, we thank you.
