PropertyGuys.com is anything but a conventional company. The brand’s philosophy lies in the desire to disrupt the real estate industry and empower property owners to handle transactions on their own terms and without hefty commission fees. It makes sense that the company approaches every facet of its growth in the same way: as a disruptor.

Jason Capson, franchise launch director of PropertyGuys.com, had an unusual path to joining the company. A born entrepreneur, he started a successful franchise in the health and wellness industry and gained years of experience developing his franchise system. He grew to understand that the key to successful franchising is developing a clear system of training and support for franchisees. Ken LeBlanc, founder of PropertyGuys.com, saw the potential in his business and the capability of Capson’s system, so he brought Capson on to coach the existing system and expand the brand internationally.

“We were looking for, you know, self-starters and true entrepreneurs and those kinds of people to come in, take what we have and run with it,” said Capson. “We’ve been really blessed to have had a lot of people do that exact thing.”

But some franchisees might not have the tools to take on a completely new type of real estate business from the get-go. That’s where Capson comes in. He’s been able to make the franchise opportunity user-friendly and broaden the pool of candidates to those with a lot of skills to contribute to the business.

Capson has developed a 12-week intensive training course for new franchisees that gives them all the tools they need to build a successful PropertyGuys.com business – no matter their background.

“At the end of those 12 weeks, even if these folks decide that PropertyGuys.com may not necessarily be for them, we want to have given such a great education in business that they can go out and open literally any type of business they want,” said Capson. “They’ll have the tools, the training and the confidence to be able to do that.”
