Kathy Livingston is a veteran franchisor with over 30 years of experience owning and operating her own franchises. Today, she’s using her years of experience to create the franchise model of child care company Oliver’s Nannies.

“As an emerging franchise, we come with all of the benefits of an established franchisor, including robust franchisee support and a true personal investment in the success of their franchisees,” said Livingston.

As the school year ends, the need for child care coverage changes for parents. During the academic year, parents might use drop-off or after-school care, but in the summer, parents have to fill the time between camps or other activities without relying on school.

Oliver’s Nannies has provided a solution to the yearly shift in families’ coverage needs by offering a membership with services that span a variety of options. This flexible solution to child care sets the franchise model apart and makes it attractive for parents trying to manage difficult schedules.

The services provided by Oliver’s Nannies make it possible for families to maintain a healthy work-life balance that is extended throughout the company culture.  Oliver’s Nannies is dedicated to fostering a family-style dynamic for franchisees and employees alike. For owners, most work happens during the typical workday in an office environment with minimal after-hours responsibilities. As a bonus, franchisees who have children are able to use the child care services themselves.

This experience-backed, young franchise recently launched its third location in Boise, Idaho. For the opening process, corporate staff members were on site so they could provide support to new franchisee Bom Hilton. At the opening, the corporate staff assisted Hilton in vetting, interviewing and hiring her first nanny. Being present for new franchisees’ openings is just another pillar in growing the culture and family that makes up Oliver’s Nannies.
