Naturals2Go, the healthy snack and beverage division of VendTech International, considers itself a leader in unattended retail. Launched in 2009, the division focuses on helping people start and run vending businesses that align with their lifestyles.
Naturals2Go stands out in the veteran community as a fantastic opportunity, and the brand has had great success with people with a military background.
“The skill sets that people gain in the military are a great match for what we are looking for in our owners. They value a proven program and support system yet have the critical-thinking and decision-making skills that a business owner needs in order to take full ownership of their own business,” explained Heath Falzarano, president of VendTech. “We have seen a number of veterans make quick work of building their own successful vending businesses with us.”
Michael Rayburn, a Navy veteran, is a perfect example. Rayburn has run his Naturals2Go franchise in the Texarkana region for the past three years. The business allows him to create his own schedule, build relationships, and teach his three young children about finance. “The style N2G has created allows anyone to compete against industry giants like Coke and Pepsi,” Rayburn added.
And then there’s Rachel Alban, who served a distinguished two tours with the Navy. After retiring from the Navy several years ago and working as an IT consultant, Alban was recently accepted to become a Naturals2Go owner. With two toddlers, she’s looking forward to the flexibility and spending more time with her family.
“I want to have something that is mine and mine alone – something that allows me to answer to myself and my family,” Alban said. “I see Naturals2Go as a business that I can scale to whatever level I want, with the support of my family and the professionals at Naturals2Go.”
Part of that support includes a team to offer guidance, matched by the Naturals2Go corporate office.
“I want to grow my business by my rules and my pace, and with Naturals2Go, I will have the opportunity to do just that. I’m so excited,” Alban said.
