The MADabolic workout relies on intentionally crafted work-to-rest ratios. Backed by science, MADabolic’s signature intervals burn fat, maximize strength, and build lean muscle. And it’s the industry’s first and only strength-driven interval training franchise.

Raenard Dillard, a MADabolic owner in Atlanta, Georgia, understands firsthand the magic of MADabolic.

“I actually started off with MADabolic as a client back in 2014. I loved it in that moment; I was like, sign me up!” said Dillard. “After several months, I reached out to ask what it took to be a trainer.”

Dillard realized her dream of becoming a trainer soon after, and began helping clients achieve their fitness goals. Then, in 2020, corporate approached her with the opportunity to purchase her own MADabolic location. Dillard jumped on it.

And she’s thrilled that she did. “I get a chance to be involved with something I love. I love fitness, I love MADabolic,” said Dillard. “I wasn’t looking for a franchise – it kind of found me.”

MADabolic is more than just a fitness club. As Dillard discovered, it’s a lifestyle club. And in the booming boutique fitness market, MADabolic stands out for its low initial startup fees, limited number of employees needed, and ongoing corporate support. From choosing the best location, to building out to a studio grand opening and beyond, the team stays involved all the way.

The company keeps systems straightforward and seamless for franchisees. MADabolic provides solid branding and marketing initiatives combined with proven backend operations and cutting-edge technology. Plus, the MADabolic team, comprised of seasoned professionals with expertise in developing world-class brands, supplies ongoing education and training from fitness experts. All the tools remain in place to promote success and drive growth.

Collaboration and camaraderie between franchisees also enhance ownership. Dillard said she can hop on a call with other MADabolic owners any time she has a question or needs support.

“Corporate makes sure we’re sharing best practices with each other, so that way everyone can be successful,” she explained. “They host regular meetings as I develop my ownership journey.”

Then there’s the flexibility aspect. While corporate gives guidelines for how many classes a studio should offer, owners can gear offerings to their communities as needed. This flexibility is vital in a business where relationship development is central to establishing and maintaining a satisfied client base.

Dillard is happy she decided to take the plunge early on as an entrepreneur instead of spending decades in the corporate world working for someone else. Her goal is to expand her current location and eventually purchase an additional territory to grow her footprint.

One thing is for sure: Dillard’s love of the MADabolic workout will continue to light her path.
“I am loving every second of it,” she said.
