“What do we do with all of this stuff?” That question is on the back of so many of our minds, and Eric Myers, founder of Junk Junk Baby, presents the answer. The residential and commercial junk-removal brand provides reliable service with a compassionate edge, conscious of the delicate nature of each job.

When the pandemic hit, many home and business owners took the time to clear out extra items they no longer used. Myers saw the business take off and decided that 2021 was the right time to start franchising. “It was an awakening. Many called it the ‘Great Clean Out of 2020’. Franchising was always in the back of my head.

We had substantial growth in the past three years, especially for a business that is a lifestyle business. I operate my business between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. I have kids, and I coach sports. It creates an amazing opportunity for a franchisee. Depending on the hours they want to operate, they can crush it,” Myers said.

Junk Junk Baby offers franchisees a flexible business model that promises to be fun and filled with variety. In addition to being driven and compassionate, the ideal candidate has a business edge and a sense of humor. The brand provides franchisees with exceptional hands-on training, ongoing support, and options for diversifying the business’s revenue stream.

Myers said he believes in building a brand that supports each community at every opportunity. “We try and donate the items whenever we can, because it is important to our organization to see what we can get back into circulation,” Myers said. “We partner with housing authorities, and some of those people are placed in a home with nothing other than the clothes on their backs. We have had the opportunity to give them a place to sit and sleep and provide kitchen utensils, and sometimes food as well. This part of the business makes us feel great about what we do.”

Junk Junk Baby is currently franchising territories across the U.S., including markets in New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
