What would you say to someone who wants to become a Bitbox ATM franchise owner but is hesitant because of the ever-changing nature of the cryptocurrency market? 

We are a passive, fully-managed franchise. We do all of the work for the franchisee, including educating them about the cryptocurrency market and showing them how they can benefit from it without becoming experts in the cryptocurrency market themselves. We research and identify market territories, ship and install the machines and do extensive monthly marketing, including making a website for each location and driving local customers to the machine with marketing on major search engines. Because we manage everything for our partners, approximately 98% of them operate remotely and do not have machines in their hometown or their backyard.

Is a particular background or set of qualities required to become a Bitbox ATM franchise owner?

The vast majority of our franchise owners are not cryptocurrency experts. They come from various backgrounds – some are retirees, single moms and dads with 9 to 5 jobs, immigrants, entrepreneurs and even movie producers – but they all say the same thing: ‘I don’t know a lot about cryptocurrency, and I don’t want to invest in a business that will make me work another full-time job, but I want to be a part of this.’ We provide them with everything they need, including the bitcoin for the machines.
