Function of the owner

InXpress franchisees are salespeople and consultants. They spend their day either cold calling or door knocking (successful franchisees do both!) from 9 to 5. Their main targets are small- and medium-sized businesses. These companies typically cannot get big discounts on shipping services. With the InXpress volume, franchisees can save these customers between 11% and 33% on shipment costs on average. The franchisee will speak to the person in charge of the business’s shipping needs and then if they’re successful in obtaining the business as a customer, they set them up with InXpress’ proprietary software so that the business can schedule shipments on their own. The franchisee then provides personal customer service after the sale, ensuring a high rate of customer retention. The customer continues to ship, and the franchisee makes money on each shipment. As the franchisee sells more customers, the residual income builds!

This is a very sales focused Franchise model. We require franchisees to commit full time to the business. This is not an absentee or semi-absentee model.

They have no fear of picking up the phone to cold call, utilizing the training and tools we provide. They will interact with people every day, so building relationships is key! Franchisees do not need any industry experience. Those with a sales-management background have an easy time scaling this business by hiring a sales team after the ramp-up phase.

No employees are required to start and franchisees can be the sole salesperson to build the business on a full-time basis. To scale this business, the franchisee would hire sales representatives and part-time customer service support.

We are an open-territory model. Franchisees have a designated Primary Marketing Area (PMA) but are not restricted from selling to customers anywhere in the U.S. Our PMAs typically have at least 10,000 potential small- and medium-sized businesses.
