Technology helps everyone stay connected and develop in ways that are evolving as quickly as there are minds and hands to create it. Computer-science education prepares children for a world where technology is omnipresent. Schools are increasingly making efforts to teach computer-science fundamentals, but there are noticeable gaps in the availability and adequacy of those systems.

Abid Abedi, founder and CEO of iCode, recognized the disparity in the education system. In 2015, Abedi launched iCode to elevate computer science education by integrating the STEAM education system with a dynamic curriculum.
