Instead Install It, Fix It or Paint It When You Become a Home-Services Franchise Owner

If we have learned anything in the last year, our homes and the condition of our house matters more today than ever before. If you have been sitting on the fence about opening your own business in the home services industry – it is time to hop off and get comfortable with the idea of a joining a franchise brand.

Right now, literally at this very moment, there are homeowners in your community, sitting in their home office, kitchen or their bathroom looking around and thinking. They are considering what they should do next, both inside and outside of their houses.

Improvements, renovations, replacements, or repairs? Painting, decks, swimming pools, and landscaping?

Their list may be endless. They need help, not only with the work, but with design and concept ideas.

Let’s face it, even you may be looking at things that need to be fixed, replaced, upgraded, repainted, renovated. If you own a house, you can probably make a list of hundreds of things that could use a little TLC or that you are just tired of looking at after working from home in the last year. (Yes, it’s been a year – almost.)

Before you call the local handyman, contractor or home-services provider, call the franchisor first. It is very likely that they are seeking a new business owner in your area (maybe your hometown.) When you tell them that you want to be the one to lead your own team, they will help explain what it will take to start up your own home-services business and then, coach and train you on what it takes to get started.

Hey, maybe your house can be used for practice getting your team up to speed!

All joking aside. Spring is around the corner and this industry is going to continue to heat up, especially as the SBA has some new programs available for new business startups. (I bet that sitting on the fence, trying to decide what to do is becoming a bit uncomfortable.)

So, make a decision to revamp your career. Become your own boss and start up your franchised business this year.
