Fundraising University aspires to make a difference for every student-athlete, coach and community. The brand’s goal is to help change lives, transform futures and make dreams come true. So how do you spread the word at lightning speed?

Fundraising University brought Brian Cain Peak Performance onto the team and created the Coaching Matters Group Coaching program to make that possible.

Mike Bahun, president of Fundraising University said: “We’ve hired the Number One mental-sports performance coach in the world, and he does a free mental-sports performance webinar two times a month. It’s not just for sports – it’s about the mental performance, and it’s been building up our national presence.”

Together, Brian Cain Peak Performance and Fundraising University are providing unparalleled support for high school athletics and activities via the Coaching Matters Group Coaching program. “Coaching Matters has made a big difference because it allows people to see kind of into the heart of our mission. Transactions are a part of our business, but the overall goal of our company is to support the student-athlete experience in whatever way possible,” said Bahun.

Now this newly inspired level of enthusiasm and energy is delivering major results. With the Coaching Matters program, Fundraising University’s goal of helping support athletic programs across the nation has been exceeded. “I’ve been doing this for 20 years, and I have never heard of a $100,000 fundraiser!” said Bahun, explaining his emotional reaction to recently reaching what he thought was an unattainable goal, much like when athletes break records. “When Roger Bannister ran the mile in under four minutes, he was the first person to ever do it, and right after he did it, 12 people did it within the first four months. So what this fundraiser meant to us was it was a believability and a driving of expectations on every level, that we continue to evolve. There is so much more we can do for teams, and now that that bar has been set, I think the next thing is we’ll see somebody reach $150,000!”
