According to Albert Hermans, vice president of franchise development, the brand is coming into the year off a strong 2023 with over 250 franchises operating. Floor Coverings International has a goal of 300 owners by the end of this year and 400 by 2025.

Founded in 1988 and franchised in 1989, the brand offers franchisees a low point of entry, large territories, stellar training and support, a culture of like-minded entrepreneurs and the freedom of no retail location while scaling to a multi-million-dollar business.

The Atlanta-based brand provides everything new owners need to get started, including its fully wrapped and stocked Mobile Flooring Showrooms®.

Unlike big-box stores and other retail outlets, Floor Coverings International delivers over 3,000 flooring samples to consumers’ homes, including name-brand carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl and more. Franchisees and their design associates then help homeowners envision the flooring of their dreams, sometimes making proposals and closing deals on the spot.
