Since its founding in 1993, Corporate Cleaning Group has established itself as a leader in the janitorial space by providing a unique boutique approach to janitorial services for commercial spaces. Founder and COO Len Yakuber and CEO Devin Dollar developed a franchise model based on their successes in providing a customized approach to hospital-grade cleaning.
The company addresses each customer’s needs with an on-site assessment, resulting in customized cleaning solutions, including schedules tailored to clients’ operating hours. This assessment is collected in a job card that allows cleaners to execute each job with confidence, giving clients a consistent cleaning service.
The company’s boutique approach to its clients was also carried over into its franchise model, with a dedication to building and fostering a tried-and-true team of staff cleaners.
“I think what really sets us apart is our quality control,” explained Vice President of Franchising Andrea Lilly. “Unlike many competitors who rely on subcontractors or a broad master services agreement, we focus on tight quality control. All the individuals who work for Corporate Cleaning Group locations are all employees, not subcontractors, of the company, and that allows us to really focus on those levels of quality control, to ensure that every customer gets the same experience.”
Corporate Cleaning Group has built a growing and sustainable business by fostering a positive work environment, providing consistent high-quality cleaning services, and implementing streamlined systems with clear, easy-to-follow processes.
“One of our quotes that Len and Devin will say is that they are business people who got into the janitorial industry, not the other way around,” said Lilly. “So that’s what our support and our training programs are really driven by – how to run the company and how to drive profitability.”
At the heart of the Corporate Cleaning Group is an acknowledgment that service with a human touch goes a long way with customers and team members, and it’s this philosophy that has the brand build lasting relationships and a sustainable, values-driven franchise system.
