Best Option Restoration has made a name for itself in water-damage restoration since its founding in 2016.
The company was designed as a franchise model from its start. Founder Nick-Anthony Zamucen was able to use his past business experience in founding companies to anticipate growth and create a business model that didn’t need to be remodeled into a franchise opportunity. The model provides entrepreneurs a low-cost point of entry and practically unlimited earning potential.
Currently, Best Option Restoration has 60 open locations, 30 of which were acquired just in the last year. The company hopes to keep up the momentum from last year and carry over that pace for the foreseeable future.
Of course, with big growth comes the need for support. Best Option Restoration takes the training and support part of the franchisee journey seriously with its comprehensive training program. After earning their water-damage restoration technician certification, new franchisees complete five days of training at the corporate headquarters in Denver, where they can be trained in operations, job-site protocols and marketing.
New franchisees are then paired with an experienced mentor who owns their own million-dollar producing office. This allows the new owner to learn from the hardships and successes of someone who was once in their shoes. However, the door is never closed to ongoing training, and owners are encouraged to come back for additional training at no cost.
Though it’s helpful, experience in the water-damage restoration industry isn’t a requirement to be a successful Best Option Restoration franchisee.
“There is no one type of person that we look for when considering candidates for a Best Option Restoration location,” said Director of Franchise Operations Brian Brinegar. “Our franchise owners come from all walks of life, age and previous professional experience. If there is one consistency among them all, it is the desire to help others. We look for people that are involved in their communities and want to serve in them both personally and professionally.”
