When Ben Doebler moved from Tennessee to Portland, Oregon, he started looking for franchise opportunities that suited his entrepreneurial spirit. Since Doebler’s background included owning a restaurant franchise as well as starting his own restaurant-equipment cleaning company, he was well-suited for entrepreneurship. After only two weeks into his franchise search, Doebler found his perfect match and was excited to open his own PuroClean franchise, which focused on the remediation and restoration industry.

PuroClean responds to clients 24/7 and the staff rotate their on-call time. Doebler spent his first few years knocking on doors and working weekends as owner and operator. However, things have changed considerably. Follow the timeline below to see how he describes a typical day.

Doebler is proud to be a part of the PuroClean brand and works with an amazing staff that help drive its success. With the extensive and thorough training PuroClean provided, Doebler has grown his franchise to 18 employees and five crews covering the metropolitan Portland area. With enjoyably challenging work and an opportunity to serve his community every day, Doebler says choosing PuroClean franchise ownership was the best business decision he ever made.
