When Kate DeBiase was 20 years old, she began bringing dance classes to day care centers. She loved working with children and understood how convenient enrichment programs could be for parents, so she founded Creative Kids Movement Network.
The business was originally intended to be a small side gig for DeBiase, but in 2016, she began suffering from corporate burnout and transformed her endeavor into a full-time career.
“It took me a while to figure out what worked and didn’t work,” DeBiase said in a video on her franchise’s website. “But now, I’ve made it my mission to help others start a successful business running dance and yoga programs in daycare centers and elementary schools.”
The company, which DeBiase and her husband, Alex, began franchising in 2025, provides on-site dance, yoga and fitness programs for children ages 2 through 10, maintains a goal of helping kids build confidence, coordination and social skills.
“Whether you’re a mom, educator or professional ready for a fresh start, Creative Kids Movement Network offers a boutique, mobile business you can be proud of – one that aligns with your values, your lifestyle and your dreams,” the couple noted. “This is your invitation to be your own boss, work around your family’s schedule and make a real impact in your local community.”
Creative Kids Movement Network gives franchisees everything they need to start and scale their own business, including sales and marketing tools, training, coaching, lesson plans and enrollment and customer service support. The business model has low overhead and a proven track record of success.
“Daycares and schools love the programs because it helps break up their structured days and helps the kids burn off energy; and the parents love the programs because their kids get meaningful movement and mindfulness classes during the day,” said DeBiase.
With seven franchise units in operation and four in the works, the company’s goal is to add at least two new franchises per month. Ideal owners have experience in dance, yoga and/or fitness and love working with children. Past sales experience is also a plus as the job requires “heart, hustle, drive and persistence.”
“With Creative Kids Movement Network, we’ll help you achieve success and give you the freedom to be your own boss,” DeBiase concluded.
