In the world of franchising, collaborating and networking are often keys to success. Franchisor conventions, particularly those where multiple service brands are able to come together, can significantly benefit franchise owners in many ways. There’s no better example of this than the BELFOR Franchise Group Convention in April, where Blue Kangaroo Packoutz franchisees gathered at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix. With over 800 people from four other BELFOR Franchise Group brands in attendance, the three-day event was full of immersive learning opportunities for everyone, including workshops, brand and breakout sessions and a vendor exhibition.
Blue Kangaroo Packoutz owners shared insights, fostered relationships and unlocked learning opportunities during an electrifying convention. Highlights include an awards gala and inspiring keynote addresses from Scott Greenberg, the author of “The Wealthy Franchisee,” as well as commercial sales skills guru Kirk Armstrong.
“Our multi-brand conventions provide excellent opportunities for our franchisees and support staff to come together to exchange expertise and insights,” said Ken Osness, vice president of franchise development at BELFOR Franchise Group. “Our franchisees typically leave these events with a wealth of motivation that empowers them to reach new heights in the coming year.”
At the highly anticipated awards gala, Blue Kangaroo Packoutz recognized Jason and Rhonda Byrd, franchisees of Blue Kangaroo Packoutz Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, as the 2023 Franchisees of the Year. Additionally, Brandon Wiechmann of Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of North Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas, was recognized as the Rookie of the Year.
From knowledge sharing and networking to professional development, franchisor conventions serve as invaluable platforms for driving business growth and fostering a strong sense of community. These events strengthen brand engagement and support and act as a vehicle to announce new concepts, products and offers while encouraging collaboration. By being active participants, Blue Kangaroo Packoutz franchise owners are positioning themselves for long-term success in the growing restoration industry.
