What are the biggest advantages of running a Medi-Weightloss franchise?
It’s a fun, happy, quality-of-life-type business. Our average franchise is open 32 to 35 hours a week, producing significant ROI and net profit, and it only takes three to four employees to run a location, with very little turnover. Most importantly, you’re helping to change lives.
One of our taglines for our franchisees is “clinically successful, financially rewarding.” If you drive the clinical results, the financial results will follow.
How does the brand demonstrate commitment to growth?
We started with one clinic 17 years ago and have grown to become the leading and largest physician-supervised weight-loss franchise in the country, with 115 locations in 27 states. Our patients and franchisees have asked for more products and supplements, so we’ve expanded that line significantly.
We invest in our people and systems, including our proprietary practice-management platform called Advantage. Once we’re launching a franchisee, I like to say that they’re part of the Medi-family, and that’s really the key!
Why is now a great time to launch a Medi-Weightloss franchise?
We’ve grown revenue year after year, even during the pandemic. As an essential business, we were open. 2021 was our best year ever – we just blew it out of the water, and I think that shows what a great time it is. When you look at the market share, it’s simple: 175 million targets in a $147 billion market.
We work with all types of candidates from all different industries. I think it’s a great business to get in, to be your own boss in an industry where you’re helping people and making a very strong ROI.
