Vending is the true definition of a mobile business, and that is one of the things Naturals2Go owners love about the product. This owner-operated business opportunity enables investors to run the business out of their home offices. Outside of being in the community to identify new opportunities or to tend to a unit, everything else can be done from the comfort of your home.

Holly Sperlich and her husband, Karl, are owners of Dynamic Vending LLC, in Annville, Pennsylvania. The Sperlichs were looking for a business they could run on the side, so that Karl could continue his full-time work while Holly remained the primary caretaker of their seven children and maintained her part-time bus driver position. They clearly have their hands full, but Naturals2Go fits perfectly into their busy lifestyles.

“We looked at 15 different vending opportunities,” Holly said. “We selected Naturals2Go because the equipment was incredible and easy to fix, and they offered excellent training and ongoing support.” The lack of franchise royalty fees probably made this decision easy as well!

The Sperlichs began with 10 machines and are now up to 15. “Another reason we chose Naturals2Go is because of their locating service. They use designated zip codes to provide warm leads, as well as assist us in booking appointments for viable locations within 30 minutes of those zips,” explained Holly. As a result of their own efforts and what they learned from Naturals2Go’s location services, the Sperlichs were able to place all of their initial machines in a little under a year. “I look around the areas where we’ve already placed machines, and it’s some of the busiest areas surrounding our community for the best spots,” Holly said. “Our goal is 25 vends per day, per machine.” The Sperlichs focus on locations that have at least 50 employees or access to 30 or more customers regularly, which makes that goal a reality.

Although Holly is managing day-to-day operations, she anticipates bringing on a technical person to assist with the business. “I’m hoping to bring on a single mom that needs income and a flexible schedule. Veterans as well.” As for growing the business, the Sperlichs are looking to land some large contracts, particularly with a nearby medical complex that has the capacity for 100-plus machines.

Holly said it is important to plan well when it comes to the vending business. “We have decided to hold off on hiring employees and pay off our investment first. We are very diligent in counting costs because there are downtimes for the business, and we want to be prepared. But it can also get remarkably busy, and you need to be equally prepared for that.” The Sperlichs have learned that it is OK to fail, as long as you learn from it, recognizing that getting good information and learning what not to do have resulted in a solid business.
