The Parkers immediately modified their processes to support existing franchisees and land three new franchises as of April 1, with additional prospects under contract to buy. “We also increased the number of support phone calls to franchise owners and established a Covid-19-related resource portal with invaluable information to assist them,” Jason said.
“In addition to that, we have completely modified our procedures to include Zoom
meetings for the final step in the franchise sales process. We also adjusted our welcome celebrations, which include the ‘meet the team day.’ We’ve done all that remotely with great success. We quickly mastered the onboarding process and applied it successfully,” he said.
“Even in these trying times, we were able to award one franchise by doing everything virtually, without the typical ‘discovery day,’ when other franchisees have been able to visit and get to know us. And this group ultimately purchased three units, investing at the highest level of $1.7 million per unit. That is pretty exciting.”
