The 30 Minute Hit boxing and kickboxing-based concept for women offers the best of both worlds: a personally instructed workout in a group class setting. Members can drop in at any time and receive a 30-minute class tailored specifically to their skill level, with no limitations on which location they visit or the number of classes they can attend.

Founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2004, 30 Minute Hit has more than 80 locations across Canada, the U.S., Ireland, and Saudi Arabia. The brand’s training routines, rooted in boxing and kickboxing, offer a comfortable environment that empowers women to reach new peaks of physical and mental strength. Each 30 Minute Hit circuit is open for sections of time, where members can visit any location and get a workout in. The workout style is circuit-based in increments of two-minute sessions, where each member starts on the first section, and then a buzzer signals the start of the next section. Members have unlimited access to in-person workouts and online workouts at their specific skill level for a monthly membership fee.

Stacey Firth, director of franchise development, explained the many benefits franchisees will notice. “Our facilities are small, which helps keep our overhead really low. We designed everything to be extremely streamlined. We only need one trainer per shift for four to five hours at a time. Our workout equipment is custom-designed for us, and unlike most boutique fitness gyms, the total package only costs $15,000 and includes all equipment and matting, with no ongoing equipment leasing fees. Technology has helped smooth out the startup process by offering the option to have a 3D rendering of the site for build-out, and owners are now able to complete all training virtually if desired,” she said.
