1Heart Caregiver Services is a premium nonmedical home care agency that has served thousands of seniors and other adults since its founding in Los Angeles in 2003.

With 18 franchises in California and Nevada, seven in development and more in the talking stages, the brand is poised to grow across the country. It offers superior benefits and incentives for franchisees and caregivers alike.

Headquartered in Tarzana, California, 1Heart Caregiver Services was franchised in 2014 and still operates as a caregiver agency in Los Angeles. “We are practicing what we preach,’’ said Dylan Sambuceti, director of franchise sales and development. “We know the push points in the industry; we know the challenges, the areas of opportunity.”

1Heart Caregiver Services prides itself on its relationships with its franchisees and on helping to ensure their success. “We are small enough that we are giving every franchise that comes onboard a very personal touch,” Sambuceti said.

“Everyone on the executive team takes the time to not only meet all the candidates but to familiarize themselves with their stories and their backgrounds. We are really trying to make sure that no matter how big we grow that we will continue to take that kind of personal interest in each of our franchisees that come onboard,” he said.

Franchisees benefit from a low investment with quick ramp-up, minimal brick-and-mortar requirements, all-encompassing business training and coaching, and ongoing support.

Through its 1Heart Caregiver University, the brand has trained more than 2,500 caregivers, most of whom work with clients who need extra help in assisted-living facilities and private homes.

According to Sambuceti, with more baby boomers entering their 70s every day, the need for senior care is huge. “The industry is really stretched to its limits right now,” he said.

The brand assists franchisees in today’s competitive labor market by offering caregiver incentives, such as above-average pay and value-added training in fall prevention, stroke awareness and dementia care. It also offers financial bonuses and holds a year-end awards gala.

1Heart Caregiver Services looks to expand to 50 franchises by the end of this year. “Being a smaller company with a smaller footprint, we have a lot of great territories that are wide open and very desirable,” Sambuceti said.
