For over seven years, franchisees have found success doing what they love, simply by following 1Heart Caregiver Services’ model. With its five-day 1Heart Business Academy and continuous training and business coaching provided, the in-home care agency helps franchisees enter into an industry with significant income potential.

Led by an executive team with years of industry experience, franchisees use 1Heart’s tools to tap into the home health-care market, which offers a source of endless clients as Americans age. The brand’s core values also act as a guiding light for franchise owners.

Cecilia Mumar, owner of the Burbank, California, 1Heart location, was drawn to the brand when she learned about the vision of its leaders and its easy-to-follow model.

“During my search for a business, I knew I didn’t want to start from scratch. When I met with 1Heart’s executive team, I was attracted to the personal stories behind the business and the fact that they were starting to grow their franchise business. They have a business model backed by financial success and positive reviews from existing franchisees and clients. I liked that the 1Heart team is easily accessible and always available when I need them. 1Heart’s value system links with my values,” she said.

Mumar has since added to those positive reviews, as she acquired her first client within a few days of opening her location. This is not unusual, however. Kamran Ghasri couldn’t be more pleased with the results he has seen. An area developer, Ghasri owns one location, is the partner of two others and is acquiring a fourth. While his responsibilities have grown, he is appreciative of the ongoing assistance of the additional staff he has hired and the brand’s support system.

Ghasri spoke about his reason for investing in 1Heart and his experience as an owner for seven years.

“I understood that elder care could be a good business, and I realized that I could trust 1Heart, depend on its support and grow as a result. 1Heart’s model has helped in several different ways, most importantly, by developing and providing a marketing program. We also benefit from other support systems, such as recruiting and management,” he said.

With exciting franchise opportunities available throughout the U.S., including many of the markets in which baby boomers are choosing to retire, prospective franchisees can get their feet in the door quickly. Dylan Sambuceti, director of franchise sales and development, discussed the many benefits of the multi-unit franchise/area development opportunity.

“Our franchisees have the opportunity to build their legacy by expanding their territories with area development or purchasing another franchise unit. This allows them greater profit potential and expands the economy of scale – all by focusing on 1Heart’s proven method. They are able to gain greater exposure in the original territory by becoming better known in new areas,” he said.

For those who may be hesitant about moving forward, Mumar offered some words of advice. “Do your homework. 1Heart is transparent and provides support to its franchisees throughout the life of your franchise. 1Heart is growing at a fast pace, is agile and adapts to industry trends quickly,” she said.

On August 17 at 5 p.m. PDT, Sambuceti and Randolph Clarito, senior vice president for franchise growth and strategy, will offer a webinar about the brand’s multi-unit/area developer offerings.
